We are currently preparing a database that will be linked to this site that will allow you to look up or browse through the following information:
- A complete list of all the dioceses of the world (alphabetically or by country and ecclesiastical province). The page for each diocese will include details of who its current bishop is, what it's mailing (and website) address is, how many Catholics there are there, how many ordinations occurred last year, etc.
- A complete list of the world's bishops (alphabetically or by country) including details of when they were born, ordained, consecrated and what other dioceses they have governed before their present one.
- A complete list of the Pope's diplomats (alphabetically or by posting)
- A complete list of the Curial Cardinals and Bishops (alphabetically or by dicastery)
This is a big job, so please bear with us. We will make as much of it available progressively as possible.
